That's a cool update! Having fun with the new reverbs, these are stellar.
By the way guys, probably me who's lost
as I'm a bit rusty with Dune, but how can I set an LFO to be unipolar?

Use the offset of the LFO

I´m a bit rusty too, having too many tools and too little brains to use them properly - but I like what they did on the mod matrix. I remember that was very clicky. Fast as drag´n´drop now.

Would be great (or awful), I have been holding on the synth since ever as I already have so many competitors. But at a discounted price....chk071 wrote: Sun Nov 19, 2023 6:36 pm Looks like Synapse Audio will have a Black Week sale starting Monday.

But Dune is a must-have.

Totally agree, but so are serum, diva, spire, Hive, phase plant, pigments, Falcon, ...
I already own Obsession and the legend from synapse and they are great.
I also own an unknown marvel from synapse named Antidote (through the RRP).
This is a crazy sounding VA, I feel it overlaps a bit with dune.

Agree, there is many competitors. Like Rapid, also with layers.
Dune should expand layers, with their own arp, fx chain, mod matrix, midi out
Add new OSC like granular, resynthesis, multi sample

The early alphas were called Antidote and then the Rack Extension version went one way and DUNE went in a slightly different direction. But there is still a lot of overlap. We kept using the Antidote Alpha until we moved to 64 bit, at which point I remade the patches we liked inside DUNE. It could not have been easier, I got identical sounding patches in no time at all.Jac459 wrote: Mon Nov 20, 2023 12:16 amI also own an unknown marvel from synapse named Antidote (through the RRP).

I should remark that you enumerated instruments with varying musthaveness, and Dune's one is in the top tier, along with... YOU KNOW, THOSE
Weapons of choice (subject to change):
Godin Redline, Kuassa, Fuse Audio, Audiority, Roland A-500pro, Dune, Dagger, TAL, Reaper for Rock & Synthwave pleasures; Viper and FL Studio for guilty EDM pleasures

That's why they have so much in common...
Even when I listen to presets ,I find this antidote vibe ...

Yeah I know, I am not neutral at all haha. But I still managed to refrain naming Avenger, DS Thorn, Current, Synthmaster, objekt, Europa, friktion, those are in my absolute top tier.Dencheg wrote: Mon Nov 20, 2023 6:26 amI should remark that you enumerated instruments with varying musthaveness, and Dune's one is in the top tier, along with...
