What are your favourite 'secret' reverbs that aren't advertised as reverbs?
I'll start with Valhalla Space Modulator:
mode: Ensemble360, rate: -0.3 Hz, depth: 7.5ms, feedback: -85%, manual: -30ms
mode: Ensemble360, rate: 1.3 Hz, depth: 1.7ms, feedback: 85%, manual: 19ms

Valhalla Delay has some great use for reverbs, too, sometimes I use it for reverb.
Some SSL delay, as well, good for special reverb sounds.
Secret weapon reverbs!

I just bought Sinevibes Droplet recently. It's a granular resonator delay thing that sounds like a reverb. It's a secret weapon OKAY so don't tell anyone.

use stereo width plugins, or width tricks like adding chorus or cabinet IRs to instruments with lots of harmonics, panning each instrument across the field, duplicate a mono track and nudge it, delay one side, cut L and boost R the same frequencies in a split EQ, switch to M/S and EQ Sides differently (or comb filter the Mid) then switch back . . .

SpecOps: turning down Speed and maybe playing with various effects, modulated by the input follower.
Bitwig Delay+: has various Blur algorithms that can easily turn it into reverb.
Echobode: Smear knob for diffusion
Imitor: multi-tap delay, create your own diffusion

I remember the old KVR "Reverb Challenge" when you were given a non-reverb effect (e.g. a compressor or distortion) and a simple 4-track project.
That effect had to have an important role in your method to simulate the parts of a reverb -- effect ratio, pre-delay time, decay time and tone -- so the instruments sounded as if they were in the same space.
I never won cuz I was too young and inexperienced then, but it was fun.

I was tempted to mention this, but its probably more accurate to say that it's marketed as a reverb but secretly doubles as a delay. I can't think of another plugin that slides between the two so fluently.
