I see U-he has a 50% off on audio deluxe. I was thinking about picking up HIVE 2. Damn GAS! :hihi:

Well, this is it... :D I was pretty surprised tbh as usually, it's only ever 25% at best.

Hive 2 is a no brainer if you have bitwig as there is CLAP format support and polyphonic modulation...

Totally agree, but so are serum, diva, spire, Hive, phase plant, pigments, Falcon, ...
I should remark that you enumerated instruments with varying musthaveness, and Dune's one is in the top tier, along with... YOU KNOW, THOSE
Yeah I know, I am not neutral at all haha. But I still managed to refrain naming Avenger, DS Thorn, Current, Synthmaster, objekt, Europa, friktion, those are in my absolute top tier.
I'd suggest that if you have any one of those synths, you don't really need any of the others. That's kind of the point of those types of instrument, isn't it?
NOVAkILL : Legion GO, AMD Z1x, 16GB RAM, Win11 | Audient EVO 8 | Lumi Keys | Studio Pro 8
Korg Odyssey, bx-oberhausen, Proxima, PolyMax, GR8, JP6K, Union, Atomika,
Invader 2, Flow Motion, Olga, TRK 01, Thorn, Spire, VG Iron

Without any doubt.

It is more "irrationally want" that "need".

But I talked to myself and we decided to be reasonable 😉.

Dune 3 is in my wish list since the release, but was kind of pricey.
The only synth i bought on retail price was Sylenth1 for 139 eu,then discover wonderful world of discounts during entire november and then christmass madness :)
If it was 50% will be must have, buy now immediately, but anyway 129us /118 eu is ok too, considering quality and the layers,i am interested mostly.
118 euro is good price actually.
What is usual price of soundset for Dune, 20-25 euro?
I develop a project called 'Next Genetaion' with another synths, but will test Dune these days and may continue development with it.
There isn't so many multilayer synths available actually, capable of complex interconected modulations.
Really curious what can be done with Dune 3.6 :)
Cheers :)

What does CLAP offer more than vst3 other than the fact it's not Steinberg ?

Isn't that enough in itself?
