I don't get it. Why do you need to switch tabs on the GUI to MIDI remote the synth?kenny saunders wrote: Tue Oct 10, 2023 6:17 pm Disappointing that the tab buttons for oscs, envs, fx, and eq are not midi readable, so this synth cant be used with control surfaces without constantly using the mouse.

I emailed them just now with a video.
Can't hurt for others to do it as well.

Why does this company tag on _big_sur to the end of the Mac download for Spire? They clearly support Ventura and higher in their system requirements. It's a very odd addition and completely unnecessary. They seem out of touch with what they are doing.

Whilst I agree it is not the most elegant way of doing it, I think they are trying to say that this download is for big sur and later.
That is the oldest OS you can have is 10.15 (Big Sur).

When you have enough physical buttons that you can map all synth parameters to said physical buttons and use a softsynth like a hardware synth.chk071 wrote: Fri Nov 17, 2023 11:46 amI don't get it. Now I've posted that I think you're point is I can still map the params, well yeah but I want to see the params are before I start moving them, and none of the dropdown menus are midi cc able

I've got an SSL UF8 dumb mixer which now has a MIDI cc mode so I can use 31 buttons, 32 dials, 32 faders, and maybe another 32 buttons

Ok. It's the reason why I asked for the MIDI controller as well. If you have one with a display, and some kind of plugin wrapper, which allows you to name the parameters, I didn't see the need to see it all on screen, but, sure, I get your point when you say that you want to see the parameters you're moving.
