exacly, ah oh, oh ouh.

Instead of eq or a touch of compression why not use dancers to enhance the cowbells, ah oh, uh oh, "to me baby" ah ohh uh ohh...., works fine and it even makes the rest of the song sound better too. :D :o
although probably millions of people "disagree with me", didn't check how many views it has..

i can imagine the conversations and thought processes while debating how to make the chorus as appealing as possible... " hey, when do we have dancers show up?"

Same happens with reverberated saws stabs or fm'ed triangle plucks. If there's synth LEDs flashing on camera, ... even more if there's a bunch of synths flashing Lights, it instantly sounds better.... it's all in the brain..

I think for maximum purity music should use caves for reverb. A coconut beaten with a stick in a cave - modern plugins cannot accurately reproduce this, too much aliasing and latency.

I have heard sandstone is the best Tone Stone for cave reverbs. Basalt is too muddy.

I say we do away with recording altogether and just describe songs and sounds in written form and distribute them by non aliasing carrier pigeons.

What a letdown.
He is singing "never gonna give you up" to his zither and washtub bass

C'mon Bippo, don't tell me they didn't layer drums in the 80's..... why not pianos? or something else?
You can play it off the grid like i sometimes do (but in my case sometimes too much by some dose of lack of skills.)

that's probably my favorite NI piano offering honestly. on its own it has a unique sound, but I particularly enjoy layering it underneath a rhodes/wurlitzer/synth-keys patch, as much for the mechanical noise as for the unique tone itself, and adding "heft" to a patch

nice change of pace from the usual suspects... seems like fancy grand pianos are a dime a dozen in the sample world.

now the giant, on the other hand ... definitely NI's weakest piano offering, imo
