All we know is that upgrade from V1 is €99, and there will be an additional Black Friday discount.
FWIW I'd expect the RRP to only be modestly increased for new customers (currently it's €210 for reference)

c'mon now.
It's a brand new product - you honestly think it'll be 50% off?

Also, will there be a V2 demo available to try? Will it overwrite V1?

That's clearly the upgrade price. Current price without sale is €210, a brand new v2 without sale is not going to be €109 is it?

It's not really a completely new product, Avenger V1 already exists for some months, V2 is an upgrade with new features and additions afaik.noiseboyuk wrote: Wed Nov 22, 2023 10:10 amc'mon now.

You also should take current economic situation into account, and it's pretty bad, also in Europe, most pockets and purses are empty and dev is already rich like hell, just watch his equipment.
C*mon it's Xmas time and if Santa gave less than 50%, not the best Santa, so maybe a meatless Xmass dinner and without a tree this year to save the money for V2, but ok, there are worse things in life.

For 90€ I wouldn’t update yet, saves me also money because I can’t use new expansions.noiseboyuk wrote: Wed Nov 22, 2023 12:18 pmThat's clearly the upgrade price. Current price without sale is €210, a brand new v2 without sale is not going to be €109 is it?
Maybe next year there could be a better upgrade price. Avenger often was on sale for 99€ - there are much nice offers this Black Friday. Haven’t used Avenger that much. The new features sound good on paper, but for 90€ update I have to think about, if I need it yet. I have many expansions but don’t use avenger that much, I prefer good analog emu, like U-He, Gforce, Tal, Softube where Avenger isn’t comparable soundwise, and I am sure V2 won’t raise the bar.
For me is the new Ableton 12 and UAD signature update more attractive and Arturia collection 10 is around the corner.

Tbh, v1 was worth the 100 bucks in the sale to me. My production partner values it higher, but to me, that‘s where it‘s at. Especially considering the prices for presets and suboptimal performance on Mac, compared to everything else I use.
69€ would be my limit, as well. So I‘ll wait again until the vendor‘s valuation and mine meet.
See you in a year or two.

Damn! There’s an avalanche of new products and upgrades right now… difficult to keep up but I’m hoping that if the Avenger upgrade price is €99 that it’s going to be such an innovative blockbuster that purchasing becomes almost mandatory… but I have my doubts. Interesting times:)
