I received this in email today:
At $29, this was too good to pass up. However once at their site, the price is $43.

It’s probably the 5 seats that’s throwing it off. I got mine for $29.

Could be. I just got an email back from Celemony asking me about the number of seats. I only use two and they see 6. I have no idea how that works.clintmartin wrote: Thu Nov 23, 2023 7:43 pm It’s probably the 5 seats that’s throwing it off. I got mine for $29.

Yep. Notice it says “Your price, less quantity discount...”
For those that don’t own any version of Melodyne, right now Melodyne Studio 5 is $699 instead of $849.
But, if you purchase Melodyne Essential for $49, then upgrade it to Melodyne Studio 5 for $249, you will save an additional $400.

Yep, that was it: "Seats". Celemony corrected my account and I was able to D/L the v5 Version for $29.
There was one wrinkle in the process. I'm on a Macbook M1 for some reason, Celemony's download site kept sending me installers (I tried a few times) with a .DMS extension. Unarchiver could not unpack it. I then tried changing the extension spelling from .DMS to .DMG (that of a standard Mac installer) and what do you know?... It worked. Installed just fine.

Same thing with me the last 2 or 3 times I’ve DLed it on an Intel Mac. I keep meaning to tell them about it but always forget until the next time I need the installer lol.Weasel-Boy wrote: Thu Nov 23, 2023 9:01 pm There was one wrinkle in the process. I changed the extension to .dmg also, but never connected that it might be a typo, I was just like “I wonder what a .dms file is?” lol.

As it turns out, Celemony is aware of the issue and blames it on something Firefox does when downloading Celemony’s.dmg attachments. I suggested leaving a note about it on their download page to save support time.i need Help wrote: Fri Nov 24, 2023 11:32 pm Same thing with me the last 2 or 3 times I’ve DLed it on an Intel Mac. DMS was the extension for compressed Amiga image files. This is not the first time I’ve seen Firefox change an attachments extension.
