But to me Falcon sadly doesn't sound half as good as Avenger...
So yes I am grateful that Falcon updates are always free, however it is not something even though I have owned a license for a few years I ever use..
So for me always, sound surpasses features.

No one has to upgrade, V1 (and all its many, many soundpacks) still works just fine and lets be honest, V2 isn't 'that' different, just has a few new bells and whistles, I bet most of us are not even using half of what is in V1!

I do not need new features, but I would like to buy new music banks, which I can not buy at the moment, because I will not start them in the old version. The logic of this procedure is incomprehensible to me and perhaps Manuel is sleeping well that many people have taken the illusion of an honest manufacturer

And what does it have to do with it? I have purchased 11 of them and I buy those that suit my work and not just to have everyone. I do not understand what it has in common that it is dependent on the amount of music banks purchased. I still gave you earned a few hundred euro

Seriously.

Plus v2 comes with 250 new presets (and new loops etc).. consider that two expansions.. and that is your upgrade price.

Somebody else has an issue to load the factory bank 2 ?
I am on macos sonoma, I see factory 2 in the upper left corner but when I click on it, it is empty.
And I also have a 467MB file in my VPS Avenger folder, named VPS_Avenger_XP_Factory_2.avxp2

EDIT: deleted and restarted the whole process. After a few download attempt, it is now working...

I guess the solution is to try doing it via vman... it worked manually for me but apparently for everyone. And yes I too am on Sonoma.

so you complain your "preset" player has no more fodder to buy? And you have over 80 left to chose from?
reg. "your genres"... who said we have to produce expansion packs for "your genres" until eternity? There are synth manufacturers offering only 3 or 4 soundpacks, or even none at all. Evil scammers!

or try drag & drop the factory 2 file into the open GUI, or go to syspacke / import content.
VMAN does this automatically, but you can do it by hand.

...mmmaybe it's because the new banks are built around the new features?

Why would you want the new banks if some (most) of the patches wouldn't sound right because of the missing oscillator types/arp modes/effects/etc?

You are probably all stubborn. The manufacturer of the software will rob you and you still applaud him, because for new sound banks you have to buy the same program with a few changes. I'm knocking on my forehead if the Europe is really f**king that people have lost judgment

That is why I go back to the fact that the manufacturer of music software should live from its content, which the client buys and not want it for a few new features to buy goods again. It was enough to give users upgrade for free. What do those who bought Avenger 1 a few weeks ago say? Will they be happy? Do you think?
