I get it, once again, there's a vendor KVR Audio hates much, so they have to pull things out of their derrière about them again. It's boring, but, it is what it is. What would this place be without soccer hooligans who beat on the enemy teams, and pay court to the home teams.

Most of the freebies I got from them were no "get the big brother next month" plugins.

The many Waves freebies over the years were nice and all, but none impressed me enough that I felt like spending money on their stuff - or to keep their plugins installed. I'm looking forward to checking out the next freebie all the same.

I bought CR8 when it was on sale at 10€ because Reaper doesn't have a decent sampler and all the free ones I've tried over the years are either buggy or lacking in my eyes. I have to say the plugin does its job well and at that price it was a no brainer.
On the negative side, I don't like that there is a parasitic software manager, like the Native Instruments "Native access", which has been nothing but a buggy nightmare. They usually insist on installing themselves on C: and nowhere else, and they take ungodly amounts of space for the little service they provide. Result is, I'm out of space on C:, which is the most important disk drive. That gives you an idea of how well these things are coded. Especially when the entire Reaper DAW with its hundreds of JS scripts comes in a 15Mb download and can run from a USB stick. And worst of all they changed their bloated shitware at around version 5 of Kontakt and I can no longer upgrade nor even reinstall the plugins I own. Needless to say, I will never buy a Native Instruments product (software or hardware) ever again.
That's also the reason why I usually don't bother to install free plugins coming from such companies, it's like installing a malware. And thus I usually don't buy from these larger companies, I prefer to buy all my plugins from smaller companies which give a license file that works forever.

Thanks! Signed-up via the link that JhimBhoy posted, which I believe I did a few days ago, but nothing came of it.
Yeah, vox stuff, in general, isn't my thing, but then again, it's FREE, and they can be used on instruments/synths/samples with some pleasing effects.

It's actually pretty cool. Like Soothe but made specially for vocals.

I’ve finally kicked the WUP habit, so not taking the freebie from Waves’ windowless van this year lol.
