There's a certain monster in a game I play, called My Singing Monsters (a game where the characters make vocal & instrumental sounds). It makes an instrument sound i'm REALLY curious about.
I believe it comes from a VST library or sample library, and wonder if anyone recognizes the sound (

Here's what it sounds like:

I'm specifically talking about the sound from 0:00 to 0:32 , BTW.

I'm not sure what the instrument really is. It sounds like a very experimental sound in a weird VST instrument or loop library. Seems bass boosted (not sure if the original sound is like that, or if the game's sound designer did that).
I can almost make out a guiro-like sound when his mouth moves. The sound the mushrooms on his back make I'm most curious about, I can guess it's something ethnic?

If anyone knows what this sound even is (or what VST the sound is from), that'd be greatly appreciated! It sounds AWESOME and i want to try it in my own music 8)

I've asked on Gearspace, and a members states it's a log drum with a bunch of effects, or a synthesized log drum! This recreation i made sounds very close: https://vocaroo.com/1lL2k4ig0HPW

AAS Chromaphone 3 can likely get you into that sonic territory as well

to me sounds like "pitch shifted drums" with saturation/distortion
