Introducing:

miniVCA and miniVCA+
from Psycho Circuitry

3 VCA style "action" type modes (Clean - for neutral, Punch - for attack weighted emphasis, Pump - for release weighted emphasis).

Harmonics options for subtle to extreme distortion (and selectable saturation and transformer types in "+" version)

Designed to be quick and easy to dial in, and then have a few buttons to A/B to get the best "flavor" too.

miniVCA is completely FREE! (no email, no restrictions, no nag screens) and very capable if it stopped there.

But the miniVCA+ version adds a few more extra goodies and enhancements (more saturation options, auto-release; that is designed differently for each action mode, variable side-chain high pass filter from 15 to 800hz, external side-chain support, dual mono mode) and is available at a small introductory offer.

Version 1.0.1 available on the website!
-Fixes the aforementioned issue in FL Studio
-As well as a mouse lock/position glitch after using the corner resizer

Are you able to add some kind of initial setting? Via an system *.ini file for example? Would be great to set a default state for your plugins.

This is definitely on the roadmap. A host preset save is the intended work-around for now. Which is less than ideal. But this will hopefully be coming along shortly with all the plugins.

-Fixed noise burst that could occur when engaing the transformer or on load
-Added new "FAST" release button. This multiplies the release time by x0.1

a note: the new fast release mode can get rather distorted on Punch and Pump modes without much gain reduction, but it can add a nice character. Just the start of realizing where else this might evolve!

Fast release also does not work well with the current meter design. It's too slow to show how big the peak changes are. But a meter overhaul is definitely on the next feature update!

Buyers of miniVCA+ will be receiving an email with their downloads shortly!

Heads up! A brand new 1.5 update is coming next week to miniVCA!

The metering has been completely redesigned to be more straightforward and responsive. Especially with the added FAST release. Peak response LEDs. No more integrated gain compensation in the GR meter. Instead a separate indicator light for level matching.

Download links for the new 1.5 have already gone out to + customers along with some exciting *exclusive* info! So if you've purchased the + make sure to check your email for the update!
