Working great but I can't find my own Sample bank any longer inside Avenger 2, so a concern. What is the fix for this?

Post

Sorry if this has been answered already but I've been searching and can't find the answer. Can we use the v1 soundbanks in v2? Or are they not compatible with the new version? Thanks.

Thanks, I might have to consider the upgrade now.

Post

Yeah it is fully compatible with Avenger 1.. your projects open it instead of Avenger 1, your presets work, your soundbanks work etc.

What does the 'rsp' mean? I've noticed you type that out after every single post you make.

Never understand why people don't just make a new thread after final release. No one that's not already active in this thread wants to wade dozens of pages of random pre-release posts. Makes no sense.

I agree, I actually said the same thing if anyone wades back through dozens of pages. TBH Manuel would be the best person to start a fresh one.

Probably because about a quarter of this forum is Seinfeld Soup Nazi levels of pedantic about thread management.

FWIW I agree with you. I think it would be better if major updates got their own threads too so when they added features you could find out what's going on without starting at the end and working your way backwards to wherever new conversations begin. But if you do that, you just replace the the insipid pre-release talk with a bunch of curmudgeonly grousing about how there was already an Avenger thread and you should have posted it there and blah blah blah. And at least the pre-release talk is pleasant.

It always struck me as funny, it's not like KVR is so overpopulated that a semi redundant thread now and then would make a whit of difference.

In their FAQ section, it says 'what are the limitations of the demoversion? No feature limitations, no content limitation. But the demoversion can not SAVE, has a short noise every 5 minutes and it has to be reloaded after 30 minutes runtime.'

Never found the demo....
exactly, Avenger 2.0 has no demo. The text is still from the old version, prior 1.5
Wait… what? That sounds totally amateur hour.

Havent you experienced their server over-load errors? That's also amateur hour. Same with releasing it with what appear to be a lot of bugs/issues. Maybe Avenger is a side project for them these days.

I’ve been watching from the sidelines. Until they added the spectral features, I wasn’t really interested. I’m just hoping that it could be a good substitute for Alchemy, as I’m still using the last Windows build.
