In French it is a very very common way to finish an invitation, it means "répondez s'il vous plaît" or "an answer is appreciated".
So on a birthday party, you finish by rsp to ask people to tell you if they will come or not so you can plan accordingly.

I always thought you were French and very "protocol" oriented lol.

Probably because about a quarter of this forum is Seinfeld Soup Nazi levels of pedantic about thread management.

FWIW I agree with you. I think it would be better if major updates got their own threads too so when they added features you could find out what's going on without starting at the end and working your way backwards to wherever new conversations begin. But if you do that, you just replace the the insipid pre-release talk with a bunch of curmudgeonly grousing about how there was already an Avenger thread and you should have posted it there and blah blah blah. And at least the pre-release talk is pleasant.

It always struck me as funny, it's not like KVR is so overpopulated that a semi redundant thread now and then would make a whit of difference.
The rest of us shouldn't be beholden to the neurotic minority.

That type of thing just shrinks forums until they consists of only the same personality types, parroting the same neurotic ideas back and forth.

Amazing synth, actually a lot more than just a synth. Not reading anything about MPE or Poly AT, in the features list, though. Is that something that they are going to add?

I agree, I actually said the same thing if anyone wades back through dozens of pages. TBH Manuel would be the best person to start a fresh one.
I'm just about ready to start a fresh one. Overate again last night.

I am sorry. I am unable to attend your thread due to a prior commitment. I will send a gift instead. :)

Agreed but I'm sure it's the expansion packs that fund (and motivate) the ongoing updates to Avenger from one version to the next, so I hope people keep buying them. I'm not half the sound designer Manuel is, but the whole point to this synth for me is the fact that it does so much while not feeling cumbersome or clunky, so there's a bit of a gap between what an expansion would be worth to me and what it actually costs.

i wouldnt buy these packs at standard price either. i mean yes they have mostly new wavetables/samples included and the quality is really great but still there are often sales where you can get each pack for around 30-40 bucks. still disappointed you dont get the WAV files included...

I'd like to see an Orchestral expansion in the future, that would be intriguing to see how Avenger 2 would be able to create interesting hybrid orchestra instruments.

Maybe but conversely there are people like me who would take the pack price into account when deciding whether to buy Avenger and may choose not to. In the end I went for the BF price and things like the Feedback osc pushed me over the edge, but I very much doubt I will buy any of those packs, which anyway seem mainly aimed at EDM people, not me. I will roll my own largely anyway but if there are any more interesting third party banks that are better priced I may take a look.

For the expansion packs, I just waited till a sale on the 5 packs and bought 2 5 packs for a really good price. I still have 4 left to choose. You can choose whenever you want.
