hi guys, so yeah im not a fan of those tools normally, i use single plugins for comp + multiband comp + eq + maybe saturator + limiter and clipper + maybe something like TEOTE/Gulfloss.
i accidentally read about it while checking BF sales and so many people praise this even saying it is great in your go to mastering chain before/or replacing you limiter spot and having there fine tuning maybe some small things with it.
what do you say? again i dont like MAsterdesk and so on. i only use sometimes ozone to check like a digital 2nd opinion and then finetune and compare then but thats it.
thx
Music Hack - Master Plan = recommended even in a master bus chain?

Master Plan is very good. It's combination limiter/clipper gets you (if you wanna to) to the stupid loud LUFS levels. Widenner is very good. All of the combinations give you everything you need to make a great master. You can probably demo it and see for yourself. Master Plan replaced lot's of plugins on my master buss chain. So YMMV.

thanks a lot, i need to test it with proper studio monitors. i jsut demo'ed it with headphones, maybe my mixes were already to my taste but so far it didnt enhance really much, even when i insert it and dont activate something it does something to the sound i dunno if good or not. undecided so far... good that the sale goes on for a bit more.

Plugin is alright, kinda digital sounding. If you want to use it in your master chain that is fine, just be aware of what you are doing with the plugin. For example, decide if you want to add your own compression, or use the plugin's compressor, or a combination of both. Build it into your chain and you can make it work, just don't overdo things.

If you didn't have anything similar, I'd say it might be worth it. The current sale price isn't that bad. But, when you've already got the bases of it covered, especially with TEOTE and Gullfoss, I personally wouldn't get it. Unless CPU consumption comes into the equation for you. Then I can see the benefit of having more things in 1 plugin.
Until forever fades away.
