Is there anything out there in a similar vein to Alborosie with a resonant filter in the feedback? I haven't paid attention so much to sw recently, so am out of the loop here. All suggestions welcome.
What delays with resonant filters?

I was going to finally get that Alborosie dub delay but obvs left it too late. Now discontinued, bah!
. I currently got back into Ohmboyz, which does great filtered delay but unless I missed something the filter in the feedback can only be controlled by LFO. Same with Cubase multitap - a surprisingly good delay, but again LFO only and it has a dark character when you start getting inventive with it. I want a classic dub delay that has a filter in the feedback that continually progresses (particularly HP rather then LP). Tried quite a few delays that put simple Eq (locut/hicut) in the feedback but it's not what I'm after. That newish free Greenoak delay is very nice, but I find it quickly goes from subtle to speaker-destroying with little in-between.

Let's ask our new overlord ChatGPT-4 which will soon replace all of us. Interestingly, it reads KVR for information -- see citation #3. Here is what it says:
There are several delay plugins that have resonant filters in the feedback. Here are some of the most popular ones:
1. **Delay Pro by AIR Music Tech**: This plugin offers a comprehensive feedback section that includes high and low pass filters, resonant filter with resonance and LFO, and distortion and limiter. It is priced at **$149** ¹.
2. **SweepDelay by SaschArt**: This free plugin features two resonant filters that are modulated in frequency, one on each channel. It also has lowpass and highpass filters, and a link for modulation to pan width, feedback, dry and wet mix. It is available as a VST audio plugin ².
3. **TAL-Dub-3**: This free plugin has a non-linear 6dB low pass and a 3dB high pass filter that are included in the feedback path of the device. It also has an alias-free saturation option ³.
4. **Zen Delay Virtual**: This plugin offers an expanded sound design potential with its modulation and options page that provides LFOs for modulating the delay time and filter cutoff, offering rhythmic patterns. It also has a feedback routing that can be adjusted to insert the filter directly into the delay feedback loop, offering enhanced control over the decay timbre. It is priced at **$129** ⁴.
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list and there are many other great delay plugins available.

Replika XT includes a resonant filter in its post effects section that can process the output of the delay or be inserted as part of the delays feedback loop. It also has a sidechain compressor, multiple characters/modes and most importantly sounds great. Probably one of my favourite delays.

Uad space echo or softube tape echoes.
Uad is in their ridiculously bargainoud signature bundle. No brainer.
Softube is on sale.
If you have Bitwig you can put filters into the feedback loop. This is extremely flexible and powerful. You can add e.g. EQ, tape, filter and automate all of that, plus the feedback level itself of course. I've gotten great stuff out of this.

TAL Dub X looks very much like what I'm after, thanks. I already have most of TAL's freebie delays but they don't seem to do decent resonant filtering so I didn't even think of their pay-for offerings. On sale NZ$34.33 - now that's a no-brainer. Great heads-up

I'll check out BlueCat. Will def demo Klevgrand - looks fully-featured and I like the modular aspect, though not sure the filter is up to scratch? UAD & Softube are both iLok IIRC, so they're both instanotbuys. Good recommendations though, keep 'em coming.

Uhe's Filterscape does this sort of thing quite well.
