of course Avenger 1 will display, that the init preset is 2.0 and cant be loaded, but it works nonetheless.

if you resave a 1.0 preset with 2.0 it should be clear, that this wont open anymore in 1.0

What does replacing mean exactly?
Moving one dll from plugin folder and putting the other one in the folder?
When I first installed v2,, I renamed v1 dll and could use both versions, all of a sudden when I added factory 2 content to the content /expansion folder, I was asked to register v1, then "successful" was displayed, then I had to register again and again and it does not work.
I will try having only one avenger dll in plugin folder. I hope I won't have to register again, there is also an offline option with some key file, what keyfile? Registration code file?
I would prefer using 1.85 only as long as crackle or cpu or caused by gui issues aren't fixed, cuz it's no fun at the moment to explore the new features. I hope you will fix it.

edit: reporting that everything is working in the current release (v2.0.2)

-> starting with v2.0.2 everything is smooth as silk=)

2 - I had to repoint VMan to the right content location, then it picked up everything fine.
3 - All third party stuff is fine.

Think that poster panicked. Chances are everything is still there, they're just not looking in the right place.

almost every other page the same questions get asked over and over.

For sure the two ones i see most, is that avenger 2 defaults to a location that may not be your avenger 1 customized location and yes it overwrites the avenger 1 plugin and automatically projects use avenger 2.

I have v.1, but I don't use it. I get the feeling that Avenger really isn't meant for expressive play, performance, or composition. It seems intent on being an ITB EDM workstation disguised as a plugin. I know that has an audience, but composers are not that audience.

So since I'm just not their target audience, I'm not going to denigrate them for this decision. As for me, a do-everything synth that lacks polyAT, much less MPE, is not remotely interesting unless it is offering something that cannot be found anywhere else. And I'm not seeing anything in this update that can't be found elsewhere.

No one is denigrating there is nothing wrong with that, it's just a fact
