I need to praise Andre Keilwerth and Vengeance Sound for pro-customer attitude. I made mistake by purchasing wrong Expansion Pack (Melodic Techno I instead Melodic Tech Voices I) and Andre switched it without a problem. He didn't have to. It was my mistake.
As i read in Avenger 2 official FB group that's quite normal reaction from them. I believe that's something that should be praised.

New Day, New luck;)

This absolutely beautiful synth now runs on mac systems down to macos 10.13
This will open up the synth to a lot of old school systems and to the old guard , and quite frankly - Im thrilled. Much respect to the Team.

I did the exact same mistake with Valhalla reverb. Bought the wrong one. I saw it immediately didn't download the wrong one and contacted the support. They corrected but they gave me a bad comment "don't do it again".
As I was already apologizing saying I have been stupid in my initial mail, I found it a bit rude.
Maybe just low EQ....

*Fingers crossed* - I will adjust all my previous posts when the time comes to better reflect the current situation. This will open up the synth to a lot of old school systems and to the old guard , and quite frankly - Im thrilled. Much respect to the Team.

Not my business but any reason to be in such an ancient OS? No security patch since 2 years. I hope you didn't do your BF purchase from this computer.

The main reason I'd buy an expansion is to get access to new sample content to feed Avenger.

Which expansion would bring samples like Bottle Blow, Shaku, Pan Flute, Choirs, Bells, etc?

Given the proper sample content, Avenger could be a pretty close emulation of the sample based synths of the late 80's through the 90's to today. I still own four of them but they never get powered up these days.

Is there a place where we can see what sample content is included in each expansion? Clicking on the expansions at the Vengeance site just takes me to a YouTube video.

How long will the expansion sale go on?

Just be careful about security. Unpatched OS is a treat for low level hackers.

the greatest source for bells are the Italo and Synthwave XPs (also FM and big Analog sounds from actual vintage Hardware)
Flutes... rarely, maybe Cinematic (also choirs!)
and the Generative has many comb "blow" resonance/karplus, mallet-plucks etc... sounds and other weird synthesis forms

- fixed extreme cpu usage when changing parameters via MIDI or DAW automation
- macOS 10.13 support, rewrote framework functions that required macOS 10.15, so they now are available on 10.13.
- added "reimport settings" from expansion to xp browser. if fx presets or ARP-Module presets are missing, use this function
- reworked memory management for ARP keys to improve stability
