It's so good. Setting aside the compression, which is awesome, it's a secret weapon for tube saturation. Dan knows what he's doing.

Don't try the Amplified Instrument Processor then. You get the comp and more powerful tone shaping filters, especially the LPF filter and the Insufferable Midrange filter do wonders with little tweak time needed.

The way a plugin sounds and how easy it is to use are the factors in my decision. Copy protection has very little - though ilok is one of my favorite. So… maybe go find your own thread to complain in?

i have another day to decide between this and Novatron.

i might even decide neither.

The thing about Pawn Shop Comp is the instant solidity it offers, like on pretty much anything, but on drums... i just wish i never started to demo. WHY!!!?? I already banned myself from more compressors and EQs.

Not everyone hates iLok. I love it and have been using it for many years. Still have my iLok 1. I would hate to see it deprecated by Korneff.

So tired of the anit-iLok vocal minority and their anti-consumer rhetoric.
