What is the difference between SuperMassive and Shimmer btW?
One is supermassive and the other one is merely massive.

That is about what I think as well. As a casual user I am happy with supermassive.

Abba, was a unique and great band and the sound was the sound of that era, but today no one has the looks (clothes, hair etc) of Abba members, it just doesn't fit to our era now, it's the same with the chambers imo.

well not at all for me - I dont make pop or rock music anyway, I'm more a sound artist / composer from the modern classical tradition so for me that reverb is very atractive

The main difference is, one does the "shimmer" (internally pitch-shifted reverb, so you're getting that very characteristic sound of a reverb tail constantly changing in pitch), and the other doesn't.
Supermassive has its strengths though, many algorithms to create interesting delays and massive spaces.
