I'm impressed that you guys remember your first reverb. I couldn't really tell. Maybe TAL-Reverb or EpicVerb (never understood the hype around this one...).

Never looked back when I purchased my first payware reverb (probably Blackhole). They are better.

yeah the paid are better but sometimes you may want the coloration of the free not that good reverb

My first extensively used(/abused?) reverb plugin was Glaceverb and especially one particular preset that was instant ambient. Second one was HOFA IQ reverb cm edition, because I thought the visualizer was cool. The reverb was good too.

First hardware, and first ever, reverb was my first guitar amp's inbuilt spring reverb.

First I think was CSR (pre-T-RackS.)
Last was a bunch more UAD reverbs that came in Signature.
Never used... hmm. Most of the reverbs I own. There's probably about 5 in Eventide Anthology alone that I've never used. MangledVerb... yuck.

Edit: Technically, my first reverb was Wunderverb3 in Cubase VST.
Edit #2: If we're not strictly speaking plugins, then my first was the Alesis QuadraVerb.
