Playing around with some color bass techniques using colors from Zynaptiq. Also picked up the Baby Audio Bundaru the other day so I used it heavily. I really like the IHNY compressor. (headphones mix)

Very nice, super varied. Yes, the bass is really great - also very inspiring!

Interesting mix of some laid back music with Dubstep elements, and some good enjoyable moments in there.
Its a bold experiment, but for me personally in my humble opinion, doesn't work too well.

Fair enough. Too disjointed?

Nice contrast between the heavy bass synths and the more delicate Pianoteq tones (I assume). I think you have managed to create a new genre - loungestep  The Baby Audio bundle looks like a good Black Friday deal.

Good work :)

Good selection of sounds. They are from completely different worlds, but work together pretty well. The mix and overall production is also good. It does sound "too disjointed" as you say, but if you would spend more time on the arrangement it may come to life.

Btw. I like tacos...

Very cool track! Lots of contrast and variations.

There was a learning curve for me while listening to your last album. At first, it sounded "disjointed," then I realized your style is combining solid piano melodies with modern EDM elements which provide a "kick in the pants." So I think this track is normal for eassae and is quite good. :)

Thanks!

HaHa. I dig it: loungestep. You are correct in assuming Pianoteq. I was using the VSL Bosendorfer heavily, but I started to notice clicks when I would use the timbre shift control. I actually contacted VSL about it, and they asked me to send them some audio. I did, and they never got back to me. I can reproduce the problem consistently. So…I went back to Pianoteq.

The Baby Audio Parallel Aggressor is quite nice:)
