Well we've had enough threads about reverb, and going through the monster thread about freebies is getting mind-blowing , so I thought I'd share my must-haves in the free vicinity

ANALOG OBSESSION - analog-flavoured EQ's and Pre-amps, just discovered the obscenely good quality of these.
CHOW TAPE - still a great sounding tape plug-in for thickening your sauce
VOXENGO BOOGEX - lots of nice free stuff from Voxengo, but I rediscovered this amp sim which is now going on my template - clean but a bit dirty
KIIVE AUDIO 'Warmy' EQ -it's niiiice
Tila2 reverb -for those boxy home-recorded DIY sounds.

What's yer absolute elite must-have essential to-die-for freebies?

Fuse Audios Spring 'verb (rev-666?), has a nice boing

The Audio Damage legacy effects, some nice manglers (Automaton, Dr Device, Replicant, Ratshack reverb etc)

TB Ferox (use it as a compressor....

) Have had it for years but now free everyone can have the, err, squishy luuurve. All the other TB v3 (now) freebies are top notch too.

The only "free" effect I can recall receiving this year was Dawesome Love, which wasn't really a freebie, just free *with purchase*. Nonetheless, really cool freebie for me.

I'm also enjoying Dawesome Love more than I anticipated. Not free, but I don't think I would've jumped on it without it being "free with purchase". (Found a sound set that net was about $7 for Hive.)

Klanghelm IVGI. For me, as good as True Iron for saturation. I use it in tracks as well as buses.

AAS Objeq Delay was *almost* free, got it in a Humble Bundle for very little.

Oh, yes, I use that one too. Not technically free anymore though, as the activation is from the FX Collection 4. Got it as a freebie as well though.

Those are my freeware essentials. Have some more from those devs, but those are outstanding!

Oh yeah Apogee Soft Limit is decent too! Not even mentioning Valhalla freebies - outstanding quality!
