Yes, but you failed to answer the question - What *is* the best reverb plugin?
Best for what?
Vocals? Guitars? Drums?...
Rock, Pop, edm...?

Or best all-round reverb, most versatile?

Maybe Waves Renaissance Reverb and Waves H-Verb

the ones you don't have

It is rather ridiculous on some level but I have about 8 or 10 verbs. 4 are stand out lush insta-expenso-verbs , I tend to go for those and if they work they stay if not I try the next. We should all have an idea of what good reverb sounds like on good records/mixes so use your ears and work out if they fall into that sonic reference.

If you have some disposal income there is no shame in spending on what gives pleasure and there are less noble forms of pleasure to be spending on than eq's comps and verbs. If they are in sales the guilt is less.. though it's the sum total you need to think hmm that's a fair old wad I have spent in the last sales.

The best one? Well you just listen don't you, download ten demos and check them out part of the fun.

Hits were made on 224 and 480 and arguably much lower cost / lesser units, so it's nothing to do with the reverb or compressor or the EQ itself. It's to do with the music you have made and the quality processes are beautifying. A good looking person will always be so, but with some make up tweaks they can become stunning. A silly analogy as often without make up or shaving, pulling nose hair out etc. (to balance the reference to sex) is better but you know what I mean.

Any reverb can be made to "sit in the mix". Is it able to enhance and produce the effect you desire in a tasteful beautifying way is the important part. You could fart into a spring reverb and edit onto a snare and make it "sit in the mix". It'll be 25dB lower than where you put a good reverb but it will sit in the mix.

8 or 10 seems really low.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

I could live with 2 and still feel luxuriated, Lex PCM is nice low cpu but good enough so it's helpful. Even a decent studio might have had just 1 big Lex and a few 19inchers some decades back. Some never even had a Lexicon.

We are spoilt beyond belief, it's nice though.

Sure. I don't necessarily mean 8 or 10 are not enough. What I mean is that seems like a low number for anyone to have acquired in 2023. I have 8 reverbs from Eventide alone, and at least that many from IK. And I wasn't even trying. Just from the free reverbs out there you should have at least a dozen. Studio One ships with 3 reverbs.

And I haven't even gotten to the reverbs I actually use!

My reverbs are the best.

This is a bit pointless to even raise. Of course the music comes first. However there are two areas we're likely talking about here.
1. Sound design, where sometimes reverb is integral to the sound. Not the main factor, but can definitely elevate a sound.
2. Mixing. For mixing it's probably a different dimension were looking for, but no doubt here having nicer sounding reverbs can elevate a mix

Given that a great sounding mix gets that way through many small improvements, it's fair to say reverb can make a difference to a finished track regardless of the music itself.

Put the seat down at least!!

Some rooms can sound good, and may be ok for such a sparse track. Not so simple with synths, and you lose a bit of flexibility in the mixing, so you'd better be sure the room sounds good.

Prefer the seat up. Adds more flavour to the mix.
