Maybe it's no reverb,
people prefer talking about reverbs

Why nobody talking about best or fav gui ever?
If gui no good, I just can't use it.
Gui important, that's what I have found out
over the years. Music production is a visual thing, especially nowadays.
Analyzing plugins are great, they show,
you just watch, very relaxing.
Watching Voxengo Span is like meditation.
But there's a reason I don't use it any more, it reminds me of my wife

1st I bought: the Convolution reverb in the original Vienna Suite (VSL), ca. 2009.
Last I bought; MIR Pro 3D, 2023.
What i never use: Precedence by 2C Audio. MIR does 'location' dramatically better, and I don't love the sound of Precedence. It's not installed currently.

The last I bought: I think it would be IKs Sunset Sound reverb.
Never used:
The TRacks CSR reverbs, but now I will probably finally load them up to see how they are.

But you never have to worry about KVR being too musician-y.

Ding! Ding! Ain't that the truth. Musician-y and Geeky. I feel most here forget that DAWs are used for recording music as opposed to tweaking and fiddling with features.
And that pedantic music theorists don't write hit songs; booze and sex writes hit songs.

Now all the musician-y folks will bark, "I don't want to write hit songs. I'm too cool to write hit songs."
Which means they can't write hit songs so they make skins for Reaper.

I'd rather have the latter than the former to be honest because the latter -not being versed with theory- will "write from the heart" for lack of a better term - which feels better for my taste buds.
I dove deep end with theory and realized it hindered my connection with "source" so I stopped.

Who's that guy on YT? Sea-something studio? Long hair, a touch full of himself?
He only uses 'real' fx. He apparently has a real plate reverb, and other analog original bases for digi-fx.
After getting a real spring reverb tank, I'm starting to think he has the right idea. Don't know what the Missus would think of an EMT plate in our livingroom, though.
