the name has changed, but it has still the same plugin id, for older projects?

Yes. Same plugin ID. And if you need the old (file!) names for whatever reason, I have added an option in the (Windows) installer that copies also to _64 names.

Thanks.
Installed it, but there are problems with VST3 version on Win 10. It is crashing in Cakewalk, Cubase Pro 12 and it is not recognized in Reason 12 Plugin Manager. VST2 version seems to work OK.

Oh, no. :scared: That would be sad news since I spent numerous hours of my life debugging all VST3 compatibility issues on all systems. I just tested the VST3 here again on Win 10 and Cakewalk 2023.09 and it runs here without problems. Same in the Steinberg VST3 test host.

Could you please make sure again that the VST3 says "v3.4.0 VST3 Win64 v" in the top right corner? Otherwise it could be that you still have a 3.3.0 or 3.2.0 VST3 somewhere installed and this one had the problem you mentioned.
Please reconfirm. This would be very helpful for me. Thanks.

yes, it's v3.4.0 Win64 v VST3
It initially opens in Cubase, but after some presets changing and playing with it, shutdown Cubase completely.
And as I said Reason plugin manager don't recognize VST3 Vaporizer2 as a VST3 plugin.
Don't worry, you will find what wrong :tu:

I just tested again and cannot reproduce that.

May I ask when you have downloaded the installer? Yesterday or today? There was a mention by a user that there is a bug in the Granular sampler section leading to a crash. This I had fixed yesterday evening and have exchanged the installers. So if you have donwloaded yesterday it would be helpful to see if redownloading and reinstalling fixes it.
