Yes I am actually planning something like that. a "lock to scale" on off button. When it is on, notes will be moved to the nearnest note-in-scale. and when playing sequences, the sequence notes will be transposed in scale instead of being transposed chromatically.Hanz Meyzer wrote: Sat Nov 18, 2023 11:26 am Hm, no, like a post-live-filter, moving notes to nearest note-in-scale, which are out of scale.

Here's our latest development update guys: Finalizing the UI/UX, I am hoping to release a beta version first week of December:
When there are multiple layers, you might want to see/edit similar parts of multiple layers (key/velocity zones, arp sequences, etc) side by side. The Tracks view is handy for this purpose.
BTW, as you see from the screenshots of arps, there's not enough screen space to display a piano roll. In such cases, the notes names will be written, including chords. I am gong to write some "chord detection" code when I have time for that very purpose
We will also display a "zoom" icon so that user can open up the larger sequence editor and edit the sequence there:

I'd pay the upgrade price now if it got me beta access. I considered the everything bundle but frankly the current Synthmaster 2 presets more than have me covered, you include a lot of value for the price of the base synths.

We might actually start selling SM3 licenses (new & upgrade) in December during beta period:stoopicus wrote: Wed Nov 22, 2023 8:15 pm I'd pay the upgrade price now if it got me beta access. New license: 60% OFF / $69 (MSRP will be $179)
Upgrade from SM2: 40% OFF / $29 ( MSRP will be $49. The upgrade price will be $29 until the 60th day from the official release)
These discounted prices will be valid in December during our Winter Sale. Then, when the sale ends, SM3 price will be the same as SM2 until the official release.
If it all goes well, we will release SM3 on the first week of March.
(FYI: SM3 license will include a SM2 license as well)

Will SM3 support Release Velocity? Particularly in MPE mode? It's the only MPE modulator I can't use on Synthmaster 2 (from a Rise 2 in this case).

the VST3 version doesn't support Note Expressions yet. VST2 should work fine.teilo wrote: Thu Nov 23, 2023 8:59 pm Will SM3 support Release Velocity? Particularly in MPE mode? It's the only MPE modulator I can't use on Synthmaster 2 (from a Rise 2 in this case).
