Love TDR
Only Arbiter is a little fancy.

All the rest are straightforward utilities. Working at high sample rates? Get Ultrasonic. Want to EQ the side band more in a better way? Get Elliptical. Want to control the low end? Get Infrasonic. Really - not complex to use.

Post

Both Ultrasonic and Infrasonic tested. Changing min phase to mixed phase just made my years more sensitive to this  - so they work amazingly.

I just wish we could control the lowend bump somehow more. It is very nice but will change the volume a lot (max 6dB).

On the latest version right-click and there's tiers of dyna-bump amount, the dynamic energy thingy.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

After further demoing and initially way too many bugs, i passed on these. Don't need Ultrasonic, while Ellipitical and Infrasonic are better done with my usual tools. Arbiter might be different, but in practical use it only marginally differs from other tools, where other tools offer more control.

Honestly, these plugins feel rushed in their release and very limited in functionality, not in line with the rest of TDR's products. Where their other products have all the bells and whistles to go in-depth, these filters miss many opportunities to stand apart from what's already on offer in abundance in todays market (and even in their own catalogue).

I'm not sure if this is a typo, but it sounds much more beautifully than ears.

You can find KVR posts that "envisioned" the same about all our prior products. Prejudice and half wisdom in abundance. Especially about Kotelnikov, Nova, SlickEQ M, Limiter 6 GE, all those that later became hits still offered reseller's best shelves today, several years after release.

Before swiftly accusing us of missed opportunities,
Where's your ultrasonic filter that has dynamic gating and proper visualization up to 20MHz?
Your Elliptical filter with linear or compensated phase?
Your LF analyzer that offers a resolution of 1Hz per bin?
Your filters that come with matching psychoacoustic compensation?
The Analyzer that supports auditory masking?
Or just one relative dynamics processor that fully acts independently of level. capable of de-essing a fade-out, tenor or dynamic sax solo, with almost unmeasurable distortion or side-effects?

I don't say you want or need this stuff. But the "I've seen it all, I'll teach them devs a lesson" KVR style is a waste of time and nerves for all involved (gained meme status among devs).

Hence, I don't enjoy posting here much anymore, favouring places like https://gearspace.com/board/new-product ... lyzer.html or various Facebook groups instead. We use to take feedback seriously, develop in close intercom with our users, all in an open debate sadly not feasible here. As you can read in the GS thread, productive user feedback pushed several updates already. It's specifically this open communication that shaped our prior products so well.

I don't know about the feedback after release of Kotelnikov, Nova, Limiter 6,
but I have seen these three plugins have been mentioned here at kvr several times in several threads with a lot of praise.
There is no of my projects without Kotelnikov GE and very often Nova GE and I suppose you have conflated this forum with another one by mistake.

What I would like to see on a compressor is automatic attack, there are some with automatic release, but no comp with auto attack, this would be some innovation, especially good for mastering comps

DCrown, I mean the few days after just every new product release. :)
With time, product concepts proved themselves.

Ok, I see.
Would it make sense to have automatic attack (mastering comp) ? I think quite a lot of users are too unexperienced to know what the best attack time is for their mixes, maybe it's just a stupid idea of mine...

I'm simply giving my opinion based on my use. Maybe i was expecting too much, maybe you will further develop some things. But for now, i have plenty of other tools that lead to the same results. My observation, which i'm free to post here.

And btw : I was one of the first ppl who reported a bunch of bugs to you on GS, and we've been in mail contact with each other. So yeah, i've done the productive feedback. But some bugs still exist, with the intro sale being over, so hence my 'rushed in release' remark.

I own pretty much all your plugins, so my criticism is out of love for your stuff. If i wouldn't care i wouldn't have posted here or on GS to begin with, and i surely wouldn't have taken the time to mail you to help you fix products i don't even own.

Most of the stuff that i'm missing has been posted over at that GS topic btw. A lot of feature requests, and a lot of bug reports, still. Which i think are not typical for your brand.

Your part about "envisioned" seems over the top btw, given all the positive feedback that your brand gets on here. In fact, your stuff is loved much more here on KVR than over at GS.

Downloaded prism last night. Thanks for making such a great free plugin. I think it's going ot replace my old and trusty Span by Voxengo. The filters seems really interesting but I am unsure what use case I have for them. thats probably a lack of imagination on my part i'm sure there is ton of use for all of them. Maybe a good old demonstration by Dan Worrall would help me and other people understand them better
I make electronic music - DAW of choice : Live 12

If you're talking about the paid ones, there's already quite a bit of explanation in this thread. See my post above, for example.
