Not my style. I'd prefer 2290

Demoed the VSS3, quality on par with the Relab lx480, just a different sound.

As i told you in our 'lengthy' pm's, YES.

TC allows all iLok license transfers, they just have to ok them, like UVI do.

Sounds like the beginning of a deep friendship...

Is loving Relab VSR24 (based on the TC Sytem 600) close enough? Definitely sounds and feels different from Lexicon, Eventide, spacious and more impersonal but very believable.

I demoed Vss3 and Vss4.
Vss4 sounds a little better when you just listen to one track/instrument adding Vss4, but it's very hard to make it sit well in a mix.
It's deceptive, cuz first you get a wow effect, but then in a mix you just don't get it right.
I suppose it's good for recording little instruments, maybe like two guitars and vocal.
Vss3 always sits well in a mix.
That's the difference.
Price is 199, well, not cheap, but it's a wonderful reverb.
3rd reverb I demoed today was Seventh Heaven btw I was shocked how bad it sounds compared to tc.
Especially on acoustic guitar 7th heaven made it sound kinda dull, whereas tc added some space that just sounds very well, very transparent and blends nicely with dry signal. Still Relab 480L essential gives me the best results, though, maybe just because I am used to it.

Seventh Heaven is a reverb that adds a lot of color to the original sound - usually too much for my taste. It's not meant to be transparent, as far as I know.

Well, that's what I found in liquidsonics website about Seventh Heaven /Bricasti

"The Bricasti M7’s reflections are pure, transparent and realistic.

incredibly quick and easy to find a beautiful reverb for any track from drums, to vocals to orchestral ensembles."

For orchestral for sure a reverb adding colour is not the best choice.
I know Bricasti is said to be one of the best reverbs, it's just not for me, Seventh Heaven never blends nicely with a signal, it affects the sound too much by adding its colour imo. It might be good for edm, I don't know

Yeah, I just tried Seventh Heaven yesterday after someone mentioned it elsewhere, and I didn't like it at all. At least not for the material I was testing it with.

I like TC 8210's sound. Not that fond of the interface even with the hardware gizmo... the main function it serves is to remind me that I have the plugin.

- the one-button model selection is dumb. (If your DAW has a device view with knobs you can set it from there, at least.)
- Wet/Dry is one of the most commonly adjusted parameters, it should have had a dedicated control.
- some parameters can't be adjusted from the controller anyway. :dog:
