Where has Nimbus gone?

I presented Nimbus by Exponential Audio to a friend of mine and he was impressed immediately, but we found only one dealer called dv247 still offering it.
There is no exponential Audio website, google"s result is izotope, but couldn't find it there. Then I found out exponential audio is NI now??? But couldn't find it there, too.
Would you need to install NI plugin manager if you bought Exponential Audio, Izotope or Plugin Alliance today?.
What a shame!
I sold all NI years ago and am glad I could get rid of their stuff and now I can't even use the PA and Izotope I still have?
Will have to reinstall and check, haven't used PA for quite a long time
No! I use Izotope Maximizer without NI, so...?
What's even worse is that dv247 offers Nimbus without even mentioning you need NI manager or is this an old no-Ni version with old installers, that would be ok or they are just not up-to-date like me?
But how can you install something that does not even exist on a dev's page any more?
dv247 seems to be a big dealer, but never heard of it. Legit?

Omg I just found this
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.produc ... format=amp
Omg!
If you want some natural sounding reverb, you will hardly find a reverb as good as Nimbus.
Omg
Now I like NI even more than before!
NI and PA really is the perfect match lol
Is there a way to still get Nimbus.
Second hand? dv247? But how to install and register?

Yes, they discontinued them. The only ones being currently supported are Stratus and Symphony. Stratus in stereo is basically Nimbus, it has the same presets, try it.
If you want Nimbus second hand, look here: https://knobcloud.com/search?search_key=Nimbus+
But if you are running a Mac, I wouldn't do It.

Nimbus was based on Phoenix and Stratus based on Nimbus?
Inspiration of a lot Nimbus features was TC without any doubt, though
Phoenix is a better choice if you don't want a to huge reverb, I am glad I still have it
I will check Stratus, I am curious
Is NI and PA iLok now, too?
Izotope is, isn't it ?

How could someone sell Nimbus for 10 only, when iLok transfer fee is 25 or 20?fcamp wrote: Sat Dec 09, 2023 7:38 am Only the Exponential Audio line is iLok in Izotope as far as I know.

He is probably selling a serial number. I would ask them just in case, and check their feedback by other buyers to know if you can trust him. Also, if you bought Nimbus from Izotope, their support does the transfer for free.

I wouldn’t buy abandonware. It’s a bad investment.
If you want EA reverb, get Neoverb. It’s where iZotope canibalized Michael’s work.

Neoverb is one of my purchases I regret a little bit, I just don't like using it, whereas I still use Exponential Audio plugins without issues. The many options to tweak EA plugins to your taste is amazing.jamcat wrote: Sat Dec 09, 2023 8:17 am I wouldn’t buy abandonware. It’s a bad investment.

Whenever I use real instruments recorded through microphone, only EA reverbs give me satisfactory results.
€10 second hand is nothing to worry about

Before the Izotope vultures discontinued the Exponential Audio plugins, they made sure to update the GUIs, so that the logo was "Exponential Audio by Izotope". I have no Izotope plugin and will never buy a license as I utterly despise these abandonware producing companies.
