This doesn't require wavetables from the paid version (of Vital) I'd assume?egbert101 wrote: Fri Dec 08, 2023 4:29 pm A possible game-changer for Vital:

I don't know. I'm just the messenger. I think it creates a simple waveform or uses simple waveforms from the presets to expand on. So nothing super complex.Ou_Tis wrote: Fri Dec 08, 2023 4:36 pm This doesn't require wavetables from the paid version (of Vital) I'd assume?

It looks like fun! Unfortunately, it is PC only at this point. Lots of possibilities here, even if it’s not totally accurate.egbert101 wrote: Fri Dec 08, 2023 4:29 pm A possible game-changer for Vital:

In theory it's a game changer i.e. create a Vital preset which will mimic any existing sound. I played around with it and it doesn't closely mimic any of the sounds I tried. But obviously the more complex the sound is, the more difficult the task is.egbert101 wrote: Fri Dec 08, 2023 4:29 pm A possible game-changer for Vital:

Hopefully this is the initial stab and the tool will improve over time.

Doesn't seems so bad in the youtube link (quite the contrary)... But it is PC only so I can't test it...enCiphered wrote: Sat Dec 09, 2023 2:40 pmYes, I tried it as well and in the current state it is a joke.bagpipe200 wrote: Fri Dec 08, 2023 10:51 pmIn theory it's a game changer i.e. create a Vital preset which will mimic any existing sound. He did his best to make it look bad. Listen to what he says at the end of the video. I might have to try it out myself. I never got any good sounds out of SonicCharge Washing Machine v2 and that ain't exactly cheap.
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

I'll have to check that out thanks for the heads up egbert. While looking at the youtube comments, noticed "Vinetics" gonna check that out too.
... and I thought I couldn't love Vital more than I do already.

Just experienced this. I just installed Dimension Pro under Win 11. Works perfectly. Hasn't been updated in over 10 years AFAIK. Same with Albino 3. Same with CamelAudio plugs...chk071 wrote: Tue Nov 14, 2023 12:53 pmIf you're on Mac OS, yeah, absolutely. "Vinetics"? I didn't see anything about that in the Youtube comments on the "A Free Alternative to Synplant2's Genopatch" video....Psuper wrote: Sat Dec 09, 2023 4:29 pm I'll have to check that out thanks for the heads up egbert. Yeah, don't think I had a single plugin yet which didn't work anymore on Windows.ecamburn wrote: Sun Feb 04, 2024 8:48 pmJust experienced this. I just installed Dimension Pro under Win 11. If anything, then there were issues with copy protection. Terratec Komplexer comes to mind. Or plugins which never made it to 64-bit.
