You're right.
Plus, if I want Guitar software that treats it's customer with a kind of contempt then there's always IK Multimedia

I purchased everything over time for v4 so looking at the options, I think the HeadRush Bundle is what I should be considering.

Does anyone know what the Ellefson Addons are?

It’s a ReValver Artist Bundle based on Megadeth bassist David Ellefsone’s rig:morelia wrote: Sat Dec 09, 2023 10:59 pmInMusic: "The Producer Bundle includes everything but the Ellefson add-ons"Aloysius wrote: Fri Dec 08, 2023 9:35 pm I already have an iLok permanently plugged in so I released my old locking device and used that as the new hardware locking device.

Makes sense. The model now is to sell the product, then endlessly sell more add-ons and variations. I would assume that they have many more in mind, if they can get the roll-out up to speed.

I suppose so, but that Artist Pack came out in 2015. I guess ReValver has always been pretty popular for metal… the strident nature that makes it irritating to me just seems to work for metal.
After trying the free ToneX app on my iPhone I think I’m done with amplifier physical modeling. So much better dynamics and tone from the captures in my opinion. The details I could never get the modeling guys to even acknowledge exists are all there and rendered nearly flawlessly in the captures.
Of course I dislike IK with a passion from their years of overbearing presence on this forum, but I’m all in for amplifier captures now that I’ve tried them. Eventually the open source Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) will also be available in hardware and for iOS, so then I can be IK free again. Until then the free version of ToneX with the Pushed Oldie capture will stay.

Hey man, that’s it… ReValver needs to incorporate Neural Amp Modeler for its dynamic profiling! It’s open source so it could be done. I think ReValver’s current capturing tech just does static EQ, maybe a bit more but I’m pretty sure it’s not what would really be considered full profiling.
Physically modeled effects and preamps along with dynamically captured DI profiles of tube power amps and output transformers into IR based cab sim (with cab dynamics oriented multi-band compression & EQ or whatever) would probably be tits!

Seems odd then that's is not included. Especially for those who already bought it.guitarzan wrote: Sat Dec 09, 2023 11:24 pmIt’s a ReValver Artist Bundle based on Megadeth bassist David Ellefsone’s rig:

I don’t see it available on the new site, maybe the endorsement deal didn’t transfer from Peavey to Headrush.morelia wrote: Sun Dec 10, 2023 5:24 am Seems odd then that's is not included. Especially for those who already bought it.

Before you go on with your whinging and slagging, have a look at the original ReValver5
thread:

Yes, support AND development were lagging while R4 was part of Peavey.
That is no longer the case and comparing the current support team to
IK, (which we all know blows), without even having attempted to work
with them is just plain ignorant and unfair.

That's exactly correct. That was a seperate product and deal between David Ellefson
and Peavey it could not be automatically transferred over with the rest of R4's modules.

When I saw Revalver was out under a new company, I was really excited.... but I looked at the USB requirement and I just couldn't believe they hadn't changed that part.
That's one of those things that causes problems for the loyal customers who've bought stuff, like me, and I don't think it's unfair to say that I really don't think it's a great idea not to change the authorization, in fact I think it's a massive mistake. Now's the time to make the change and I hope they're listening. I'm not slagging off the company at all, or the software, which I'd buy more of. I've made that point before so I'll stop now, but I really hope they listen.

I've been emailing InMusic since release date. So I have attempted to work with them. They have been pretty good so far.
Also, the Eleffson gear should be there now. I don't recall what it included but I have the HANGAR18 LH1000 amp and 3 cabs.
