Hello guys,

I had a crash disk few weeks ago and lost the very recent productions unbacked-up.
All i have is the stereo bounce but have a hard time to retrieve exactly all the wav samples I used as i do surf samples randomly times to times from my library.
I need now to re compose some tracks and was wondering is there a magic software that can do a fingerprint of all your sample library (wav format) and can recognize in a stereo bounce more likely the sample used ?

I came across a soft : Sonoym but might have something more dedicated for that ?
Thanks for your help, cheers

You said it yourself, this is magic and not reality.
Mixed audio is like a cooked omelet, you can pick the mushroom chunks out but they are covered in eggyness, and the egg has that grey fungal stain. The whole idea of mixing, like cooking, is to "make one" so no matter the hype of the (mis)marketing, the egg will still be stuck/stained with the mushroom as the drums will be hairy with bass and kazoo, not to mention scabs of cowbell on everything...

My view on lost files is that it is the universe telling me that piece was not what it should be and to start again, or do something completely different.
:-)
