3.4.3
  • Removed optional moduleinfo.json from VST3 bundles as it led to issues in Tracktion Waveform, Reason and other DAWs
  • Removed clicks when changing presets while playing (fade-in/out mechanism was broken)
  • Removed sporadical click in filter on first notes after load of preset
  • Preset XML files are loaded asynchronously to decrease start up time of plugin
  • Fixed a bug with parameter changes done by hosts on the audio channel leading to hangs and crashes
  • Added mono bus layout as this seems to be required in several hosts for VST3
  • Smoothing of midi pitchbend and modwheel messages fixed
  • MPE bend range fixed (96 semitones had to be set to get 48)
  • Fixed unintentional mono processing in Comb filter FX
  • Added a configuration setting for keyboard keys to plugin midi keyboard mapping plus base octave
  • Tryed to fix a sporadic crash of VST3 in certain hosts on quick program change while playing (e.g. in Cakewalk, unconfirmed yet that it is fixed)
  • Windows installer did not correctly install _SSE2* names when that was selected
  • CLAP build in CMake (still experimental)
Hope this is a good one
Could you please post the Linux release as well? We Linux users are a growing community and love Vaporizer2!! :)

LOL! Tranzistow may be one of the best sounding plugins around, but I wouldn't touch it with a 39 and 1/2 foot pole...

...Let's see if anyone gets that reference. :D

just a short question - we couldn't map the WT controls right? Like bloat fm .... it gives nice sounds but in Ableton I was just able to control one of those with midi but can't map to internal lfos, msegs or Abletons macros. this would be awesome! :)

Hm, I don't know, but I think there is something wrong with the Vaporizer2_installer_win_3.4.3. It cannot be unzipped, and I get the message that the file is corrupt. I have tried downloading it using different browsers.

No problems unzipping the Vaporizer2_installer_OSX64_3.4.3 file (but I am a Windows user).

Also no problems with the old Vaporizer2_installer_win_3.4.0 .

Has anyone been able to download and open the current 3.4.3 Windows version?

7-zip gives a warning when extracting, telling me the file can't be opened as a zip archive, but it opens as a rar5 archive instead (how this is even possible, I have no idea). The installer file is extracted correctly though, but it's buried 5 subfolders deep in \OpenSource\Vaporizer2\VASTvaporizer\InnoSetupFiles\Output

Thanks a lot for the hint. :tu:
I have succeeded in opening the file as a rar archive now. And yes, as you say, it is five subfolders.

I have repackaged and re-uploaded the archive. Hope it is better now:
