The only reason why the media Repeats is because only things that repeat become significant subconsciously BUTT......and it's a big butt.....one has to be at a high-tensive emotional state.
So by playing things over and over there's a higher chance the information will "catch" you.
So if you're on the sofa making out with your significant other and a commercial comes on that says, "Are you feeling itchy? Well you've got Cthulu Syndrome and tentacles will be growing out of your ass." There's a much higher probability that the next time you feel itchy you'll panic and go to the doctor to get a vaccine.
It has nothing to do with the "media making one remember".
The memories are stored but without emotional content at a high rate, it's in limbo.
The media is there to instill ideas way more than to evoke stored memories.
The objective of the media is to get people to consume and stubbornness prevents stored memories to be utilized so repetition is used to "catch" you.
This is why you bought a David Bowie record. You don't like Bowie, he's not that good, and yet.....you bought a Bowie record because YOU GOT CAUGHT.

It seems that you are obsessed with catching people buying your convoluted theories, but your incessant blathering is only serving to reinforce your status as a tedious pseudo-intellectual.
Your analogy about the David Bowie record is particularly absurd. It's a laughably simplistic example that fails to address so many different factors that influence consumer behavior. You're so eager to prove your point that you've resorted to a straw man argument that doesn't reflect the reality.
Congrats

Well, given your own assertions, there clearly wasnt much of a high bar required.VOODOO U wrote: Tue Dec 12, 2023 8:04 pmVery well explained. What's so difficult to understand? Regarding memories, life cannot exist without the ability of memory.enCiphered wrote: Wed Dec 13, 2023 7:34 am It seems that you are obsessed with catching people buying your convoluted theories
If you find that difficult to grasp, root work it. Just sit back, relax and start contemplating it until you "get it".
Knowledge isn't logical at it's core; it''s experienced.
Regarding commercials being played over and over, I assume that would be obvious. As I explained, it's to eventually influence one by catching them at they're most open moments. The more a commercial repeats the better odds it will catch one.
It's like fishing, you can't catch fish without a wiggly worm and the wiggly is akin to frequency which is a repetition.Wiggle jiggle and you'll catch the fickle pickle. See how easy peasy that is?
What's even more absurd is that you took it serious.Your analogy about the David Bowie record is particularly absurd

Wake me up when you're willing to share what those factors are. I'm game to disprove and counterpoint where necessary.
That's what I love about our relationship. We've known each for how long now?? You just totally get me and know me really well. You're so eager to prove your point

As to post topic, everybody has different 'proficiencies' & many will live out their lives without discovering what that is. For most music is NOT IT! But that does not mean you cannot be somewhat reasonable at it, environment helps & lack of ego
For instance modern ego dictates a billiards fanatic wants to be the best the club but someone who wants to be good will want to be the WORST in the club so they can learn from the best
Other factors as well, I was pronounced most talented & class clown by my HS graduating class but this was not accurate. Since in my household there was no television I had time for LOTS of practice in music, art, electronics, had my amateur radio license as a sophomore. Benefits of not being distracted by boob-tube garbage. I am NOT talented but I am CAPABLE, there is a difference
So YES, Talent combined with focus & drive is the mind pattern

What, compared to the amount of luck you'd need proving yourself right? Good one.VOODOO U wrote: Thu Dec 14, 2023 7:15 pmGood luck proving me wrong.whyterabbyt wrote: Thu Dec 14, 2023 12:34 pmYes it can.VOODOO U wrote: Thu Dec 14, 2023 12:44 am Regarding memories, life cannot exist without the ability of memory.

mountains retain their shape over time, through memory.
clouds have terrible memories.
