Is this a Soundcloud scam?

I've had my SC account for years. Yesterday I couldn't access my stats. Today There's a message saying 'There's some discrepancies in my Statistics that are being recalculated'. I've never had that happen but when I search for it I come across threads from people this happened to (who actually get listened to), and they all say it was just a way for them to reduce the play count because of royalties. I've never even got a royalty from SC, so I don't understand how they can't keep track of these statistics. Anyone else get this ever?

A middleman between artist and listener scamming artist royalties? That's not a scam, that's business as usual.
Where's that Australian who recently posted a thread stating he wants to start a a site that treats artists fairly? He should read this. This is exactly what i was referring to when i mentioned having a way for artists to keep track of their listens in a way there can be no manipulation from the site administration. Sounds impossible but so was the lightbulb at one point. I think.

Soundcloud IS the scam... Had a free account for many years no problems except for when they started injecting ads, still OK then earlier this year they wanted 'email verification' to upload new tunes... WTF?...I don't care about 'more listeners' I just want tunes 'mounted' somewhere that I can point friends to so I don't need 'PRO'...
Anyways so I tell them delete my account & all music, they ask to confirm, I said YES!!...So they then say OK account is assigned to deletion or something like that...
It's STILL there, so now I cannot access anything & they certainly didn't need the 'space' back-

Yup, still there just checked...
Alonetone much better no ads-

I guess they got hacked because the site is totally unavailable today. That's probably why stats have been unavailable. I can't even access any other artist page either. Just get a Cloudflare error page.

They are back up but stats have still not updated. It's been so hard since they switched formats to the pay version.

Yeah, Alonetone is good for mounting your tunes in MP3 to point others to, not good if you are looking for buttloads of 'listeners', whoever or whatever these 'listeners' are anyway>>>
I got 3 tunes that are quite good that never see the internet anyway as I am sure they would be stolen in some way since they are not copyrighted in the official sense, even if they were how would I ever discover if they had been stolen?...These tunes for my own enjoyment or when friends come over & occasionally have a listen>>>
If you got real good stuff leave it offline, who the hell cares if people you don't know & will never meet listen to it?... I just upload basic stuff, or WIP or concepts or vintage composing that nobody in their right mind would rip-off>>>
BTW, Before closing out with soundcloud I noticed that uploading a tune would get instant 1-4 'Likes' so investigating these accounts were nobody that does any music making & looked to be 'Fake', Probably to try to boost ego of 'Free' accounts in hopes of upgrading to 'Pro', When that did not work then the email verification started & a guy I know that has Pro says he gets none of that garbage>>>

That's pretty much all you get anymore with a free account. "Email here and get an instant 1000 followers'. The distribution thing I signed specifically states you can't use anything like that. They will also 'hide' you with a free account. I used to get hundreds of plays and many, many comments on songs. That stopped after the Pro version started.
