What are you thoughts regarding the two? They seem to offer a similar feature set, do you think the converts on on the antelope make the difference when also keeping in mind the plugins? All of antelopes plugins are included with the interface.

Antelope Discrete 4 Pro vs Apollo Twin X?

Years ago I had an Apollo Firewire and got rid of it for a Discrete 4. I later upgraded it for the Discrete 4 Synergy Core which I still have. I recently added an Orion Studio Synergy Core to my set up to go with it. I think AA mic pre's are head and shoulders better than the UA's. As far as converters, I'm not convinced they are better but the clocking is. I have all their FX on both and they are as good if not better than UA's. I've never used UA's mic modeling but I have both of the edge microphones, single and duo from AA and they also are great.
