I demoed it once but my ears and mixing/mastering skills weren't "mature" enough. It's time to re-demo it again! ThanksApexSoundMusic wrote: Thu Mar 10, 2022 10:48 am DDMF 6144 EQ, without a question for me
Using it for both regular mixing as well as mastering tasks![]()

Both! It's one of those "everything I need / nothing I don't" scenarios. I might even pull it only for the bass mono-izer (one of the best) or some top end saturation (a little goes a long way) and nothing else - or I might slap it on the mix bus and go to town with it, even reference curve matching.mementus wrote: Sun Dec 17, 2023 6:20 pm For those who like Tokyo Dawn Slick EQ M: do you enjoy it mostly for its features/flexibility or for its color/character? Thanks
Like Wavesfactory Spectre's de-emphasis mode, saturation can often be preferable to EQ, depending on the goal.
Slick EQ M is about as elegant as it gets. You can tell it's been very thoughtfully designed.
Oh and 64-bit double-precision processing and high qual oversampling... cannot go wrong with this. I'd choose it over Pro-Q any day.

Kelvin´s eq section is great. I don´t like it that much as a saturation plugin, eq is pultec-style.
Waves TG Mastering Chain, also eq only.
SSL native channel strip, also eq only
I have started experimenting with Softube API emulation lately, depending on music style
it might work, maybe on rock music.
Mostly I prefer clean eq on master, Fabfilter proQ or sometimes SSL Fusion Violet eq

I do apologize. I thought we had exhausted the previous options and i would have liked to hear opinions on AA as well

Ok, I see. I can not contribute, though, I am glad I could re-sell all my AA plugins, because I didn't feel like collecting new fancy guis any more

all that TDR Slick EQ talk made me impulse buy the plugin. It's only 10 dollars atm and I have been using TDR freebies for a while now.

I did the same earlier this month. Picked up a few TDR plugins during the PB never-ending sales.HOTF wrote: Mon Dec 18, 2023 7:33 pm all that TDR Slick EQ talk made me impulse buy the plugin. It's only 10 dollars atm and I have been using TDR freebies for a while now.

Ending up getting Slick EQ GE, Kotelnikov GE and Limtier GE for 39$ on Plugin boutique I had and some virtual cash in my account so ended up costin 22 $ for the pack. I chose Dawesome Love as a free gift. Pretty stoked by this haul.thecontrolcentre wrote: Mon Dec 18, 2023 7:42 pmI did the same earlier this month. It's currently only $19.99 at Plugin Alliance.
