Still no fix for the graphic bugs so this update is still useless on my system.

In the steinberg forum, a couple weeks back, A Cubase developer said the graphics updates are coming but warned they wouldn't be first in the upcoming updates.

I'd check back in a couple of months.

Yes, they mention this at the top of the release notes.

Must be lucky, I've had no issues there in .10 or .20 on Win 10 Pro or MacOS Monterey.

The new highlighted track options are a zillion times better.

KvR needs a blowing-a-raspberry emoji. You'd think the graphics fix would be a A1 priority for them. It's not just a preference/subjectivity detail or some minor bug that is irritating but can work without in the meantime kinda thing. The broken graphics makes it literally unusable. Obvs it's not broken badly enough for enough people to make Steinberg get off their arses to fix it urgently. For the money I spent in this version, I may as well have pissed it off a windy balcony right back at myself.

Were it that easy, t'would already be done.

It IS easy. I piss off a balcony every night. The neighbours downstairs don't much like it though... :hihi:

So does it work like it did with the 12th demo version,i.e. you had to re-install the 11th version again after you uninstalled the 12th?

I am not one of those affected by the graphic glitches, but I do have a minor issue:

Whenever I open an old Cubase 11 project Cubase 13 (Windows version) asks me to locate the project folder. The folder locations have not changed. Shouldn't that information be stored already in the project file?

Post

a certain .csh file is probably missing in that project folder. If not, well, after a couple times I'd probably be trashing preferences.

Hmm, I don't have any .csh files in any of my project folders. Not with a hidden attribute either.

Once I save the .cpr file in Cubase 13 format in exactly the same location it re-opens without asking.

It is only a minor (but slightly annoying) glitch anyway. I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same.
