The regular Triangle wav in the JP-8000 sounds like it's doing something FM-y to me.

Does anyone know exactly what's going on here?

It's a wavefolder applied on the triangle wave. Which sounds like 1:1 ratio FM, yeah.

Cool thanks. It does sound like that to me too but I don't know why the Diva manual said it was a sine wave up an octave and sync to the triangle?
