Agree, very cool effect. Thanks Arturia!
I was under the impression that they already support CLAP but there is only a VST installer available.

Whoa, extremely cool and versatile.
This is seriously a contender for my favorite new effect of the year, already.

I like this direction from Arturia on the Effects. I hope we see more creative and very functional tools, such as this, in the future.

After playing around with it for a bit, I think more modulation options wouldn’t be a bad thing. It reacts particularly well to an envelope follower, for example. It’s surprising it isn’t built in, and I’m also missing all the other modulation options they usually ship their plugins with.
But I don’t want to complain, it’s a very nice plugin. Maybe Arturia just didn’t want to spend too much resources on a freebie, which is fine by me. DAW modulation works.
And yeah, NI — while I was activating Refract I go an email from NI, titled „ A holiday gift – your 50 € voucher awaits“ (…when you spend 100 € or more), and I thought of Raum … and of Reaktor ensembles of the past. It’s sad.

My thoughts exactly. I'm surprised it's not built in, but I'll just use Bitwig's modulators.nanostream wrote: Fri Dec 22, 2023 1:59 am After playing around with it for a bit, I think more modulation options wouldn’t be a bad thing. It's on the front page of the Arturia website.

Not a whole lot of activity on this thread for an Arturia X-Mas freebie.
Are people just not too excited about this one?
I gotta admit, I'm not.

I like it a lot. Very nicely conceived and integrated mix of effects.
This is a good no-nonsense walkthrough (though I'm sure one in-vision link is edited out of sequence)
A good example of what it can do is at 10.35. The modulator on the unison and the bitcrusher downsample is great.

This is a nice freebie, like every Arturia freebie in the last years.
