I saw someone else mention this on one of your other topics.
For me it’s not really reminiscent of the pandemic “lockdowns”, it’s the literal definition of word meaning “restricted”, “confined”, “limited”, so on. Maybe it’s just an American thing but IMO it’s kinda too negative a word, or maybe just the wrong word, to use in an edgy or cool way.
I don’t wanna use software that’s gonna restrict, confine, or limit my music making lol, which I’m willing to bet is the first thing people think, even subconsciously, when reading “Lockdown Composer”.
Makes me think of the free “lite” versions of DAWs that are included when you buy a MIDI controller, which are just limited, or “locked down” versions lol.
