Spectrasonics - favorite synth for inspiration
UVI - Falcon a sand box instrument
Eventide - best creative bundle
Reveal - second favorite synth
Relab - my fav modeled hardware reverb
Sonic Charge - best drum machine ever
Softube - best analogue feel synth
Synapse Audio - best OB-Xa
Geforce - best Mellotron out there
IK Multimedia - best tape machine ever
Sonible - enter in the new era of IA for EQ, comp, limiter etc...
Pulsar - favorite eq and comp for master
Native Instruments - Replika XT great delay
LiquidSonics - fantastique natural reverb
D16 - great multi purpose delay
Xils Labs - great drum machine
AudioThing - a dev for exploration
Soundtoys - second creative effect bundle
Audiority - cheap, great sound effect
Love a list of 18 in a top 3 thread 😁

For me:
Kilohearts because Phase Plant
Cableguys- great to deal with, Shaperbox features multiple times on every project.
And honourable mention to Toneboosters for top notch products, very generous/forgiving demo "restrictions" and great prices.

I love Arturias products but they are a bit frustrating to interact with.

EastWest for orchestral
Embertone for Joshua Bell
FabFilter for mixing and Twin3
Orange Tree Samples for guitars
Reveal Sound for the sound of Spire
SoundTheory for that unique Gullfoss
Tracktion for anything from Dawesome
UVI for Falcon including instruments and fx
Zynaptiq for the most interesting creative fx

(and Applied Acoustic Systems, Bechstein, Cinesamples, Impact Soundworks, Output, Pianoteq, PluginGuru, Soundiron, Virharmonic, Wavesfactory, … heck, I’m out of here.)

Vibes-based favorites (don't really partake in the GREATEST PLUGIN EVER ad copy, interesting choices, generally no-BS pricing) -
Audiority
Valhalla
Audio Thing

After so many years it's Waves.
Their plugins still work and still look
like they looked the first day - no scratches, no rust, not even signs of wear and tear - really very good quality, and very good customer support (remember! Waves listen to their customers, that's why they abandoned subscription only!),
so number 1-3 Waves, the rest is ok, too, I maybe just dislike 3 devs
Top 3 of worst devs would be easier!

TBH, I couldn't even name the 3 I "like" the most. I don't mind if the plugin is coming from NI, Softube, Reveal Sound, Lennardigital, or anything else. As long as it's high quality and sounds good, it doesn't matter to me.

Some people here are religious and political about "their" developer, for sure.

1- Fabfilter - Everything they make is top class, upgrades to bundles are done right (everyone else take note, it's not hard!!)
2- SonicCharge - Surprosed everyone with Synplant 2! Microtomic still the 'fun' drum machine to beat!
3- The Usual Suspects - Virus TI clone OsTiRus works perfectly, simple donation based project, simply amazing.

Honourable mentions!

Kilohearts - power to ease of use ratio about right in PhasePlant and Multi-Pass...
UHE- Still rocking it with Filterscape 1.5
Reveal Spire- rarely updated but still tone of the best sounding and easy to use synths.
UVI Falcon and Line 6 helix- the 'big' free updates keep coming, amazing value for long term ownership....
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Not so keen anymore...

NI- tiny updates and call it a new chargeable version!
Roland- Don't have a subscription service then add nothing new!
Arturia (reluctantly!) - running out of ideas?
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!
