I've taken the genopatch and dna color scheme from the Nightshift skin. You can tweak the colors for a lot of different elements there to your own content. (There's a makaron-file in each skin folder with the individual color codes.)

I've made an update with color schemes for the dna manipulation and genopatch that matches the skin better. The makaron color schemes was based on the colors that comes with the Nightshift skin by Fredrik Lindström.

been doing the same thing! using rewind.. i keep it running in the background grabbing everything it creates.. instant sample fodder.

Audio Hijack works well for this. It can automatically open my audio editor immediately after recording so I can trawl for the best bits
