Slate Verb suite is based on impulse responses (not only though), so maybe check out Reverbs who are based on those or use kinda the same mix between impulse responses and convolution reverb.

SSL FlexVerb is on sale at Plugin Boutique at the moment for $30 (normally $279), if anyone is interested. It seems pretty nice and that is a very good price for something so full featured that actually sounds OK, too.
I grabbed it the other day but I haven't tried it out yet.

I will stick to RC24 and RC48 for this type. However, if in future Slate Digital VerbSuite Classics goes dongle-less and is available again for $49, I may consider buying it.

I tried tai chi (reverbfoundry - liquid sonics offshoot), its an algo verb.
I bought the lite version, got a license fairly cheap on facebook.
Full version has bit crusher, ducking and multiband decay (not unlike ProR), which are nice but imo not mandatory.

It’s quite versatile and nice sounding gotta say. Bit different than Valhallas and ProR which are my usual suspects

NeoVerb. Built by Exponential Audio, powered by iZotope wizardry. Very versatile, plus I like its ducking feature and the AI stuff too. It's based on three reverbs, so you really get an all-in-one solution. :tu:

Searched for it in the thread and didn't see it. Can't believe it took until page 16 to mention it! :ud:

And $44 right now at Audio Deluxe. Very tempted - it sounds really nice in videos (has that Exponential Audio smooth, pristine vibe to it). I will probably demo it this weekend.

Appears to be $49 as a crossgrade. I wonder if there are issues cross grading from the EA reverbs bought on plugin boutique(?).
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

For anyone interested, NeoVerb Crossgrade is $46 at Best Service and better if you have some BestCoins.

(Deal is great, but avoiding any reverb purchases now. Would have loved to get VerbSuite Classics, but well, money saved due to iLok dongle requirement.)

I have been demoing it and it sounds good on almost everything and yes it's a spring reverb! Easy to use and dial in without being distracted by tons of features.

Some reverbs melt into the mix. Others boast a distinctive character. Spring reverb does both.*

It’s a shame the GUI was designed on a Windows 95 PC.
They could have hired the same designer who did H-Reverb. That thing looks dope

Maybe check Arturia Intensity, as well

Waves H-Reverb is very versatile, still in 2023!

Can you use just the Solina Ensemble chorus in Sonsig without the reverb?

Like does it have any “chorus only” presets?
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP
