If vst, how does big sky vst compare to the hardware?
Blackhole stompbox is the best i have used for long reverbs... plugin doesnt sound 100% the same. :/

Loving the reverbs in my Eventide H9 so much that an H90 is something that might be my biggest reverb purchase in 2024.

I use the Softube TSAR-1 for speech. Mostly just 'dry reverb' though to thicken the speakers voice.

So I guess I have a few hours to decide if i want to spend the 50 bucks or something to upgrade to pro-R 2?!? not really seeing the value for me, custom IRs I guess Im just rambling here

The IR import isn't really accurate enough to feel like a radical technology that gets more out of your IRs. It feels like more of a preset generator to get something that *may* serve a similar role in your mix.

The new reverb modes are quite nice and do make the plugin feel more versatile. But I couldn't recommend the upgrade over VVV and Valhalla Room if you don't have those yet.

I agree, I have the Blackhole pedal and the plugin. I love both, but the hardware has more 3D depth with a guitar DI if you record it stereo outputs from the pedal. They are close enough (plugin vs hardware) though.
