Phil's Cascade might be the only one, and it only goes up to 125%
).
I have the A/DA STD-1, which I still like to use (with the help of a microscopeWrong Eq wrote: Tue Jan 02, 2024 9:06 pm No they are not and my impression is they even became smaller and smaller over the years![]()

i'd still use Mpressor via the Cubase no-gui sliders if i had to, it's a good compressor to have in the kit.
not sure about the other ones, Phils Cascade is handy, but the other ones are a bit hard to read anything in the best of environments. That EQ is all over the show.

This is how Alpha looks on my 30" at 2560 x 1600 on a mac. This, for me, is about as small as I can tolerate. On 4K or more I wouldnt be able to use it without zooming in which is not a good experience.

yeah i think 4k is not so good for music production. unless you're sitting a foot from the screen
2k is perfect. even non-resizable GUIs not generally too tiny, and plenty of real estate.
i have one 2k for main page and one for the mixer, and leave the midi editor on my laptop screen

Alpha and the EQ - man i couldn't read those GUIs the day they were released and i had a giant HD monitor. Fiddly fonts are the worst, but also the layout of many elysia hardware/software GUIs is not intuitive at all. Drags you out of the right brain into chin scratchy scientist mode. no good for me personally.

That´s actually the same experience like the real GUI... it´s just a bunch of "round sliders" anywaysqigls wrote: Tue Jan 02, 2024 9:57 pm i'd still use Mpressor via the Cubase no-gui sliders if i had to...

Nothing invented in the last decade brought me so much luxury and enjoyment than 4k on my 43" screen...
A tiny amount of developers give a shit of maintaining their stuff is a reason to avoid their products but not 4k for sure
