Single datapoint: it works for me. macOS 12.6 2010 macpro Reaper VST3. The AU crashes Reaper but the VST3 seems to work. But yes there were RUNORS (whatever those are) about an update that never happened.zerocrossing wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2024 6:21 pm Way Out Ware TimewARP 2600. Stopped working and we were promised a fix that never happened.

There were no rumors but the quite successful and at that time new and inspiring plugin "Nora" by Squareheads vanished from the VST world quite surprisingly. Probably an internal problem, too.

regarding Kaleidoscope 2. the project was 80% done. Then Mr. Souter (another co-founder of 2C) decided to stop paying me my profit share and turn off my access to company's emails. I could not stand that and decided to make this information available to public even despite that Mr. Souter was intimidating me with his defamation lawsuits.
I'm working on my own open programmable modular synth that runs completely on GPU. I think I will have some prototype to test in about 4-6 months.

Wasn’t it Tassman 5 that was promised for years?Michael L wrote: Tue Jan 09, 2024 12:50 pm Tassman 2
You may recall for how many years this was promised, and then Oops we can't do it.

After seeing the thread about it, we can put Stylus RMX 2.0 on the list.
That plus Tassman and Alchemy were worst burns. "Fortunately" i'm on Windoze, so i can still use version 1 of each. Of those three i would have liked to see Tassman 2.0 the most, the other two work just fine for me.
