This is one of the best produced songs I have ever heard and I cannot wrap my head around how he did it. This is exactly the type of sound I want for my own songs but was never able to achieve. I know he does everything by himself. I know an analog Neve Preamp and analog UAD 1176 is involved. I am feeling like I tried everything but I do not even get close to a juicy sound like that. Does anyone hear how he achieved this sound or at least which techniques are involved?https://open.spotify.com/intl-de/track/ ... 590d97464d (https://open.spotify.com/intl-de/track/7rsuMkBDZjBfSTXGikpcEH?si=273186590d97464d)

Is it this track (I don't have Spotify but it seems to link to that)
One of the main techniques I think is the final mix is run 'hot' through tape (or tape emulation) - It's got that gargle-y/crunch especially when the kick and bass hits.

I met him once. That’s why I got this info even though nobody knows him lol.Vortifex wrote: Wed Jan 10, 2024 1:02 pm He has 14 monthly listeners and no social media presence that I can find. How do you know what he used? This seems like self promotion.
