Try dragging a phrase or folder into RC's browser. If it then shows, go to file explorer and look at it.. if you can find it and it has the same new stuff, then, it's possible you were looking in the wrong directory. But, from the screen shot, it looks correct.sj1 wrote: Wed Jan 17, 2024 5:13 pmYes, but I don't think that's the issue either. Even a raw phrase file in the top directory is not loading into the browser. I'm going to reboot the machine and see if that helps.
Nope, no change after reboot.
Does RC write a log?

Good pointer Gene!
Under the Fil section, I see the dir and the phrases in it.
Unf. when I try to drop a phrase from the area, I get an invalid message.
Could it be because the directory contains phrases ( .rcPHRS files ) built in RC v3?
Would that be why the Browser doesn't recognize them in the Phr area?
If so, how can I upconvert these older phrases?

Thanks for your response maybe I'm misunderstanding something here but this is the results I'm getting and I've always done the same procedure. what I normally do is double click on the lines at the top to make it go full screen and then zoom out but yet this time it only shows the last phrase generated ?BluGenes wrote: Wed Jan 17, 2024 12:22 pm just open the structure browser and double click the top right of that dialog. Optionally, click the track menu and zoom all tracks to workspace.

Yes, that is what it does. Another thing you can do is click the back button twice. First one is the part/line, second is to beginning of composition.

Thank you very much Attila, that was really a fast bugfix!!musicdevelopments wrote: Tue Jan 16, 2024 4:03 pmThanks, David, that was very helpful!DavidBluecame wrote: Mon Jan 15, 2024 8:50 pm Hello, I've detected a possible bug in 5.1b4 (it might be also in previous versions, I've just seen it while using 5.1b4)
You have found a nasty bug, a deadlock, which is fixed now.
The fix is uploaded in v5.1.
Thanks!
Attila
There is still a small bug left that can be replicated following the same procedure. It's much less severe than before, as it no longer hangs.
However now the "%" value remains in the screen and even if you close the track settings panel you can still see it on top of everything and cannot be removed.

Something wrong here.. I AI generated based on chords, it only gave me one note for each chord, so, I add the "Add Chord Note" variation, but, that is not giving me 3 notes, just 2..

So apart from the initial problem you have, what's the difference with using the AI or just using the RC to generate chords themselves are you getting any better results than you would just getting RCBluGenes wrote: Sat Jan 20, 2024 12:57 pm Something wrong here.. Just depends on what you ask for.. I could have just used a chord generator and set the properties, but opted for the single notes.. All I am doing is testing stuff, different combinations of random things really. Not really intended for any production quality.. Looking for bugs, I suppose..
