I was wondering if there was already a vst that lets me load other vsts one on top of another, so that I can see multiple interfaces in the same window?
I have snapheap, which is great but its only for Kilohearts Plugins
Does such a thing exist?

I can't think of anything that does this for arbitrary plugins. Every host I know of opens the plugin UIs in their own windows. The problem is that you have no control over the width of the plugin windows, so anything that does this will potentially look very messy. Handling plugin resizing would probably also be awkward. Reason can get away with it because they have their own plugin format that dictates the relationship between the size of the controls and the width of the plugins, but obviously that only works for Rack Extensions. I think, maybe, at one point the Editor view in FL Studio's Patcher worked like you describe. However, it seems it's since been removed.
You can also get several lines of popular effects plugins' controls directly in Ableton Live's horizontal plugin display via the M4L Elisabeth Homeland wrappers: https://elisabethhomeland.gumroad.com/

The closest thing to it is Waves StudioRack, which can macro a the Waves plugins directly from the right-click context menu (which is why it is better than BlueCat Patchwork, and it's free). It sees VST3s, and it can reopen already opened (pin) plugins. However, it only sees effects, and there is no MIDI routing in it, but can do freq.-based splitting for ex.

NUGEN SigMod can do that, and you can currently get it for free if you fill a survey:

Kushview Element is also great.

The latest release of Patchwork has some very elegant and powerful new macro capabilities. It's not free, but for what it does, it's quite reasonably priced, IMO.xbitz wrote: Thu Jan 18, 2024 7:36 am The closest thing to it is Waves StudioRack, which can macro a the Waves plugins directly from the right-click context menu (which is why it is better than BlueCat Patchwork, and it's free).

AFAIK everything that's been suggested opens the plugin UIs in their own windows, which is not what the OP is asking for.

What your describing is called Studio One. It nests plugins inside one window per track, pinnable incase you want to view multiple, with key commands to cycle between the plugins. Not a plugin but i figured I would let you know in case this is a big deal to you. One of my favorite things about studio one.

i think maybe reaper could do this, this sounds like something for the daw to handle if you want it to improve your workflow instead of using plugins within plugins which would probably be worse for workflow. It depends if you think its worth switching daw for this

Oh, nice. It's been a while since I tried it so I wasn't aware of that functionality.Sahul wrote: Fri Jan 19, 2024 12:12 amLatest Kushview Element v1.0 betas support plugin UI embedding directly in the graph editor.Greenstorm33 wrote: Thu Jan 18, 2024 11:47 pm AFAIK everything that's been suggested opens the plugin UIs in their own windows, which is not what the OP is asking for.
